Otherlands is our spin on AI RPGs. You don’t just imagine the story—you see your party move through, live in, and change the worlds you create.
Items change hands. Buildings rise, fall, and find new uses. Supplies run out, journeys take time, and people remember what happened while factions pursue plans of their own. The world keeps moving—and keeps the history your party leaves behind.
A world you can change
Deep simulation. Resources, trade, factions, and time work together. People have their own needs and plans, and your choices affect the world around them.
Building and lasting consequences. Set up a home, build a settlement, or start a business. Construction takes time and supplies. What you build, who you help, and the territory you claim become part of your campaign.
Build your party
Spells & abilities. Cast spells, develop skills, and find ways to combine your party’s strengths. Describe the approach you want to try.
NPCs, pets, and companions. Meet people with their own loyalties and ambitions. Recruit them, trade with them, or get in their way. Bring an animal companion along for the journey, too.
Travel your way
Mounts & vehicles. Ride, sail, or drive across the map. Move your party, carry supplies, and plan around what you can bring with you.
Explore at your own pace. Follow a lead, make a delivery, or find somewhere to settle. Your party, possessions, and relationships carry forward when you return.
Create your own world
Run a desperate zombie-survival sandbox, a classic dungeon-crawling fantasy campaign, a party-driven JRPG-style adventure, or something that belongs entirely to you. The RPG system adapts to the setting instead of forcing every world into the same genre.
Bring a world you’ve been designing into the engine. Define its places, people, factions, resources, and pressures, then play full campaigns or shorter story arcs inside it.
Return to the same setting with a new party, follow a different conflict, or keep building on the history your earlier campaigns left behind.
